The Story

Head for the hills - It’s a flood disaster! Botguy is stuck on his roof with a few of his Tribble friends. Other Tribbles are stranded in the flood zone. It is up to each robot team to rescue Botguy and the Tribbles, get them to a shelter, or even better, get them and some needed supplies to the homes of their friends and family.

Game Rules and Objectives

The game begins when the starting lights turn on and robots are allowed to leave the starting boxes. For the first 30 seconds, the robots are allowed to enter the flood zone, but may not pass through it and onto the other team’s side. After 30 seconds of game play, any team may go anywhere on the game board for the remainder of the round.

Tribbles (fuzzy colored pom-poms) are worth 1 point if placed in the shelter area and 2 points if placed in the home area that matches the Tribble’s color. Supplies (larger colored foam balls) are worth 3 points a piece for being on the team’s side, 3 points for being in the shelter area, and 6 points for placement in the matching color home area. Botguy is worth 2 points for being on the team’s side, 3 points in the shelter area, and 4 points if he is in his matching color home.
