2008 Global Conference on Educational Robotics™
Everyone interested in robotics and STEM education is encouraged to attend the 2008 Global Conference on Educational Robotics! Each year middle school and high school students, educators, robotics enthusiasts, and professionals from across the world gather to connect with peers, discuss technology-related ideas, and cheer on their favorite bots during two exciting autonomous robot tournaments.

Dates and Location
The 2008 GCER will be held in Norman, Oklahoma from July 8-11, 2008 (with pre-conference on July 7). All conference events will be held at the University of Oklahoma.
Important Deadlines
June 16 - Early Registration Deadline
- Register before 5 pm CDT to take advantage of the $80 registration rate
- After 5 pm CDT the online registration rate will be $90
June 23 - Last day for refundable changes
- All refundable changes to registrations MUST be made before 5 pm CDT on June 23rd
- After June 23rd participants can be added, but cannot be dropped for a refund
June 30 - Last day to register online
- Register by 5 pm CDT on June 30th to take advantage of online registration
- After 5 pm on June 30th you must register onsite - onsite registration will be $100 per participant

Beyond Botball Tournament - Beyond Botball is open to all! Rules and information can be found, here.
International Botball Tournament - Regardless of standing in regional tournaments, every Botball team is invited and encouraged to attend the Global Conference and compete in the International Botball Tournament.
